Details
The details section documents when a user was created within the DataBlend environment. Details include the month, day, and year of user creation.
Members
The Members section lists all members of a group and their corresponding role. This section also documents when the Members were added.
Inviting a New User
Group Admins may invite users via an invite utilizing the new or existing Members email address. New Members access is reliant on verifying their email from Amazon Web Services. In the event that a new Member cannot find their verification email or the link has expired, Group Admins have the ability to resend the email by clicking the blue linked Resend text.
Activating a New User Account
Activating a new user account is simple. Users will receive an email from Amazon Web Services (amazonses) with the name of the member who has invited a new user to join a group within DataBlend. The Amazon Web Services email will contain a link to log in and the invitation code.
New users will enter their email address, Full Name, Invitation Code from the Amazon Web Services email, and their desired phone number.
Once all fields are completed and the sign up form has been submitted, a new user will be prompted to create a new password. Additionally, users will be prompted to set up the desired form of mutlifactor authentication. To learn more about multifactor authentication with DataBlend, please visit Logging In | Multifactor Authentication.
Removing Existing Members
Users can remove any Member of their group as they wish. Users can remove Members from their group by utilizing the blue leave link to the right of the Member role. Additionally Group Admins have the ability to add users (new or existing) to a Group.
Saved Views
Saved views are a unique feature offered by DataBlend that allow users to quickly view filtered searches. Setting a saved view is simple. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner. A drop-down will appear with option to save the current view, restore the default view, or copy share URL. Copying a Share URL will allow other users with the URL to view the same saved view.
