Paylocity Credentials

To obtain the Client ID and Client Secret, reach out to Paylocity Support.

Company can be found in the welcome email. Otherwise, contact the Company Administrator for assistance.

Paylocity has two types of APIs:

To make a Paylocity connection, the following credentials are needed:

Field Name	Required/ Optional	Description
Name	Required	Provide a unique name for this credential.
Client Id	Required	Provide Paylocity Client Id.
Client Secret	Required	Provide the Paylocity Client Secret.
Company	Required	Provide the Paylocity Company associated with the desired environment.
Public Key XML String	Required	Provide Paylocity public key.
Use Sandbox	Required	Toggle on if using a test or demo account.
Is Weblink API	Required	Toggle off if Standard API. Toggle on if Weblink API.
