Snowflake Credentials
Please note that users must create a credential within Snowflake BEFORE creating a credential in DataBlend.

To make a Snowflake connection, the following credentials are needed:

How to Find Client ID & Client Secret?
Users must enter the Client ID and Client Secret from the Snowflake security integration.
Use Pragmatic Access Token
Setting Up Custom Oauth For Pragmatic Access Token

- Navigate to Admin → Security → Create New Network Rule (top right corner in UI)
- Enter a unique name
- Select Database and Add Datablend IP to Identifiers
- Create new network policy
- Enter a unique name
- Add the Allowed security rule for the Datablend IP address
- In a Project worksheet enter the info from the Snowflake set up documentation.
- Change the username and selected database.
- Once entered, it wll generate the token.
- Users must you copy/paste to a notepad. Please note that users cannot retrieve the token after generation. Users are allowed only 15 tokens per user.
